Cyber Awareness Session on PHISHING
Realizing that Phishing is one of the top cyber crime attempts to trap the gullible, an awareness session on Phishing was conducted on the 10th of December, 2025.
The free online session was well received – as against 24 Registrations many were allowed to join the discussions at the last minute, even before registration.
The discussions covered basics such as What is Phishing, how it approaches the victim, what is the impact, how to recognize an attempt, how to face a phishing attack and what are the preventive steps one could take.
The participants were involved in an active and constructive discussion for over 90 minutes and the feedback from the learned registrants were overwhelming.
